Some stories choose you. Others - You've been chasing your whole life.

Ever since I was a little girl, I knew I wanted to be an author. Books became my entire world.  The words would practically lift off the pages- almost 3D- pulling me in imaginations I never wanted to leave. That feeling never left me.

I pursued that dream and studied what I loved - Writing and Literature - earning my associates degree and committing myself fully to the craft. 

Fiction is my first love . There is a complexity in being able to create characters from nothing- breathing life into people who never existed, then placing them into worlds both real and entirely imagined. Watching them move, feel,hurt,and heal inside of spaces I built with nothing but words. There is nothing quite like that feeling. Nothing. 

But before I could tell anyone else's story, I had to tell my own. 

More Than Me: Ten years of Survival is that story. My first book and my most honest one. Ten years of moments I had to live through before I could write through. It's the book I had to write before anything else. 

I'm a New York-based author writing for the people who have felt like giving up but didn't. For the ones still in the middle of their journey. For anyone who has ever been more than what their hardest moment define them as. 

This memoir is just the beginning.
